This photo competition by the Australian Human Rights Commission explored the theme of the Right to Education, and we showcase here and on our Flickr website a selection of the best photos you send us. We received great photos about the broad theme of education this year.

There were two categories for entries: Under 18 and 18 and over. Each month we chose a winner from each category who received an Apple iPod shuffle. The overall winners received a $500 voucher from Apple and had their prizes presented at our Human Rights Awards in Sydney on 9 December.
