- The amount spent on internal legal services includes all direct and indirect expenses, comprised of direct salary costs, indirect salary costs (superannuation, leave entitlements) direct overhead (costs of desks, computer, stationery) indirect overhead (apportioned rent, electricity, etc), and legal unit overhead (specialist software licences, cost of law library).
- The Commission's Legal Section also provides legal advice to the Office of the Federal Privacy Commissioner and this work is reflected in the amount spent on internal legal services.
