The winners of the 2005 Medal and Awards will be presented at a gala luncheon ceremony in the Grand Ballroom at the Sheraton on the Park hotel in Sydney on Friday 9 December 2005 from midday to 3pm. The ceremony is a mere week away and tickets are selling fast so order yours today!
Tickets for the ceremony cost $55 per person - which includes a two-course luncheon, drinks and entertainment. Concession tickets are available to community groups, students, the unemployed and senior citizens for only $30 each.

Judges have now finalised the shortlists for the 2005 Human Rights Award categories of Law, Community, Arts- Non Fiction, Print Media, Television and Radio. There is no shortlist for the Human Rights Medal, and the winner will be announced at the awards ceremony on Friday 9 December.

Commission President, The Hon. John von Doussa, QC will deliver the Human Rights Day address to honour International Human Rights Day (December 10) and Julie McCrossin will MC the event.
