Equal access to and participation in artistic and cultural life is recognised in international law as a human right (International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights, Article 15) - including for people with disabilities.

Australia

Australia has a national network of organisations which advocate for the inclusion of people with disabilities in the arts called Arts Access Australia. Network members also run hands on arts projects, and promote the work of arts organisations and artists with disabilities
