Human rights education is about developing an understanding of what it means to treat other people with dignity and respect for their rights.

 

Education is one of the Commission’s main roles. Our education program aims to explain how human rights and responsibilities apply to our everyday lives.

We provide resources and information to:

Business groups

Our resources explain what human rights are, where they come from and how they are protected in international and Australian law. Most importantly they encourage people to explore the relevance of human rights in their own communities.
