About the work of the Commission
The Commission promotes and protects human rights in Australia. We inquire into discrimination, and advise government on laws and policies. We actively seek submissions for our inquiries, projects and conversations from a broad cross section of the community, as well as those with a special interest in particular issues. Our work is aimed at making Australia fairer and more inclusive.
