For the first time in Australia, United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights Ms.Navi Pillay gave a public presentation, joined in a panel discussion which included one of Australia's most prominent and well-respected Aboriginal Elders Prof Patrick Dodson and Director of the Victorian Foundation for Survivors of Torture Paris Aristotle AM.

The forum was facilitated by popular TV broadcaster Indira Naidoo.
