Judging process
A panel comprising representatives from the Commission, the government and the community will judge the Human Rights Medal, Young People’s Human Rights Medal and Law category. A panel comprising representatives of the Commission will judge the Community (Organisation), Community (Individual), Literature (non-fiction), Radio, Television and Print and Online Media Awards.
The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
Certificates of Commendation may be awarded at the discretion of the judging panel. A shortlist for each Medal and Award category will be published on the Commission’s website at: www.humanrights.gov.au/hr_awards at the completion of the judging process.
