This beautiful young Tibetan Monk from Madoi in the Amdo region of Tibet had had his face pushed into gravel by Chinese Soldiers as punishment. His sin? A picture of His Holiness, the Dalai Lama, in his study book. I feel this image truly captures his peaceful old soul.
