T.R.U.S.T. poster - Police helping reduce hatred in the community (2008)
TRUST stands for Treat, Record, Understand, Supply and Train and are guidlelines to help improve the monitoring and response of racial and religious hatred by police.
The poster is part of a collaborative project between HREOC and NSW Police to develop resources so that law enforcement agencies can better deal with acts of racial and religious hatred and abuse.
Pinned up in every police station in NSW the poster will help by encouraging police to report incidents on their systems and refer victims to HREOC or the NSW Anti Discrimination Board.
