Dear Sir/Madam,

I would like to oppose the application for the exemption from the Disability Discrimination Act by the 
Cinema Industry.  

I believe deaf and hard of hearing people deserve access to a greater number of cinemas that offer 
captioning.   I feel that if this exemption is granted, the number of cinemas offering captioning and the 
number of times per week is just not sufficient to meet the needs of this disadvantaged group of 
people.
