NATIVE TITLE REPORT 2007

FEEDBACK SURVEY

Dear friend,

Every year, the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Social Justice Commissioner must submit a native title report to the Attorney-General. I am required by law to report on the operation of the native title system and its effect on the exercise and enjoyment of human rights by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

Both I and the Human Rights and Equal Opportunity Commission are committed to improving the native title report to ensure it is as useful and effective as possible, but we need your help in making sure this is the case.

To that end, we are seeking your feedback on the Native Title Report 2007. I have attached a link to an online survey which I hope will enable us to identify how we can improve the report. I would appreciate it if you, or a colleague in your organisation, can take a few minutes to complete it. All responses will be confidential.

If you have any questions about the survey or the native title report, please contact Cecelia Burgman in the Native Title Unit on (02) 9284 9853, or by email at ntreport@humanrights.gov.au.

I look forward to receiving your valuable feedback.

Yours sincerely

Tom Calma
