The Women in male-dominated industries toolkit provides practical suggestions and examples of successful strategies for increasing women’s representation in male-dominated industries including mining, utilities and construction. The toolkit identifies strategies in four areas: the attraction, recruitment, retention and development of women.

We have designed the toolkit to be interactive. We hope you will ‘virtually network’ with others to share your views on which strategies have worked, and which ones haven’t. We also hope you will share any other ideas you have to increase the representation of women in these industries.

The hard hats at the end of each topic go to the relevant discussion forum of the toolkit. We look forward to hearing from you.

The discussion forums will be moderated according to the Acceptable Use Policy.
