The Specialist Adviser is responsible for the provision of advice to the Human Rights Commissioner on sexual orientation, gender identity and intersex rights issues both in a domestic and international context. The Specialist Adviser will also work collaboratively with the Senior Policy Executive – Human Rights and Strategy and team managers, as well as with other Commission teams and advisers in the development and delivery of key Commission priorities.
This is an ongoing vacancy. The successful applicant will be employed as an APS Level 6 ($78,520-89,730pa plus 15.4% super) or Executive Level 1 ($98,216-109,817pa plus 15.4% super) depending on skills and experience.
