Magda Szubanski to host the 2016 Human Rights Awards

For 30 years, the Human Rights Awards have celebrated the achievements of individuals, organisations and businesses contributing to human rights in Australia.

This year, the awards will be hosted by actor Magda Szubanski will host the awards. Joining her on stage will be former Governor-General Dame Quentin Bryce and President of the Australian Human Rights Commission Professor Gillian Triggs.

The awards will also feature a special performance by Indigenous singer and songwriter Archie Roach.
