The Commission is conducting a national digital survey as part of the Sharing the stories of Australian Muslims project.
The survey will gather data and intelligence from Australian Muslims about their communities’ strengths, priorities and concerns, and their suggestions about ways the Commission can support them.
The survey takes about 15 minutes to complete and all responses are anonymous and confidential. It will remain open until 26 August 2019 and is available in Arabic, Dari, English and Urdu.
The Commission encourages Australian Muslims, their families, colleagues and communities to take the survey and participate in this important opportunity to tell a national story of Australian Muslim experience.
Survey questions cover topics such as connection and identity, experiences of discrimination, hate and Islamophobia, and the Christchurch tragedy. The survey also gives participants opportunities to tell the Commission about community initiatives that are working well.
The survey provides the Commission with crucial information for its Australian Conversation on Human Rights.
