Several of our clients have to rely on transportation by taxi, and, as a result have added restrictions placed on their ability to access services and activities of their choice due to the unreliability of the taxi service. It is not unusual for my wheelchair bound clients to wait 2 hours for a taxi that had been booked for a specific time, hours or even days in advance. Delays of this duration never occur for our ambulant clients. Our clients rarely receive an apology, merely excuses, which do nothing to prevent reoccurence. Peggy Beckett, Director
