Isma - Listen: National consultations on eliminating prejudice against Arab and Muslim Australians

Isma means 'listen' in Arabic. During 2003, HREOC held around 70 consultations with Arab and Muslim communities throughout Australia. At these meetings, we listened to community members' experiences of discrimination and vilification and opinions about efforts to fight anti-Arab and anti-Muslim prejudice. The Isma report summarises what we heard and makes recommendations for the future.
