Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Are my responses to the survey confidential?

A: Yes, all your responses will remain confidential. All data used in the final report will be de-identified. We will not release your survey responses to anyone unless required by law. Documents held by the Commission may be subject to a request under the Freedom of Information Act 1982 (Cth) (FOI Act).  In the case of a request under the FOI Act there are likely to be relevant exemptions to production (including for material obtained in confidence and personal information). We would consult you about any FOI request before any decision was made about releasing information.

A: Information submitted through the online survey will be securely stored in encrypted databases by Qualtrics. Under the Qualtrics Terms of Service, the Commission owns all rights, title and interest in all data. Qualtrics stores its data in Australia. For more information, please refer to the Qualtrics Privacy Statement, that can be found here: https://www.qualtrics.com/terms-of-service/
