Subject: mothering scores minus merit points

Maybe when women who do a good job at mothering earn merit points for caring for their infants and pre schoolers it will be a more preferred option for women who are going to live to be 100 and want to do other things in life.

In this country the nurture and care of children is generally considered a low status use of time and a negative activity career wise.

Yet, it is well known in the quiet, that when children are cared for by good mothers rather then outsourced they are less likely to cost society because of learning and behavioural problems when they go to school.

That catholic schools in Sydney need to ring reminder bells for children taking medication is shameful.

But what else could be expected in a society that says  "mateship" is our defining attribute.
