I attended the QCCI discussion on Tuesday and felt there were a couple of points that I missed raising.

1. The need for businesses to develop and design jobs as part-time positions - that is job share - 2 people fulfilling one role - at different levels of the organisation so the lower level part time workers have a career path.

2. More flexible child care arrangements available for sick children.

3. Arrange for Pupil Free days to have care at the schools - maybe relief teachers?

4. Educational videos for staff and employers on the importance of family friendly workplaces and ideas to become one.

5. Relax the PPT rules - as in overtime for over the negotiated amount.
